My favourite guardian to play is Athena!
I love her, she’s very fun to play, you just have to play smart as her!

Here is my build and what each item does:

Watcher’s Gift  

+10HP5  +5MP5 +100HP

PASSIVE - When a friendly god kills a lane minion near you, you also gain the last hit bonus. Also, your gold per 5 is increased by 1.

Midas’ Boots

+100HP  +100MP  +18%Movement Speed

PASSIVE - Gold per 5 is increased by 5.

Sovereignty

+400HP  +65 Physical Protection

AURA - The Magical and Physical Protections of all allies within 70 feet are increased by 20.

 Rod of Asclepius

+75Magical Power  +200HP  +10%Movement Speed

AURA - The healing and health regeneration of allies within 70 feet is increased by 15%.

 Polynomicon

+75Magical Power  +300MP  +10%Magical Lifesteal

PASSIVE - Using an ability gives your next basic attack within the next 5 seconds +50% of your magical power as additional magical damage. The effect can only apply once every 4 seconds.

 Demonic Grip

+60Magical Power  +25%Attack Speed

PASSIVE - Your basic attacks reduce your target’s Magical Protection by 7% and an additional 5 points for 3 seconds (max 3 stacks).

You don’t get Rod of Ascep on someone who isn’t a healer. Also you don’t show what you get to replace Watchers Gift? Watchers is a starting item you need to replace it late game with something it shouldn’t be in a final build. Poly should only be got if you are going damage Athena. Demonic Grip isn’t good for Athena either. You should also sell Midas boots late game for Shoes of Focus.
